"In Widening Circles"

Art from the Imagination of the Earth
Upcycled Clothing
I live my life in widening circles
that reach out across the world.
I may not complete this last one
but I give myself to it.
I circle around God, around the primordial tower.

I’ve been circling for thousands of years
and I still don’t know: am I a falcon,
a storm, or a great song?
—Rainer Maria Rilke

Ink drawings
I create emergent unfoldings, blossoming out into intricate patterns, rippling outwards from point of origin. Ink on paper or painted on upcycled clothing, this art is a form of map-making, honoring our interbeing and deep relationship with nature. The process of creating these designs becomes a re-membering of our sacred interconnection with the fractal, iterative growing of all life. This work intersects with my other practices as a mycelial artist creating rituals and gatherings to tend our collective relationship with the earth.
